Thesis Still lol

Description

So this is a still from my thesis that I'm currently working my butt off to get done on time.
This scene, the main character narrates how terrifying his trip to the vet was when he was a puppy. (The dog here is not the main character, but one of his sister siblings.)

The puppy is actually animated and shaking with fear as the vet's otoscope and eye ball slide into the screen on separate layers. I may actually flatten the vet's hand here. I wanted to go for "creepy yet funny" theme, but I'm having mixed feelings about how the vet and the puppy are rendered differently. I did it on purpose to try an emulate a sort of Ren and Stimpy-ish sort of vibe but I don't know if I'm pulling it off successfully or not...I may wind up just going back and flat coloring the hand to match the puppy more...but I definitely want to keep the eye ball the way it is...it's just too funny...and I adore how it came out ^^

haha love the eye! Hmm as far as I remember, either they are both highly detailed renditions, or they are both simple. But this is what I remember personally.......

Usually they focus in 1 character, so I think to achieve that effect too, you would need to render the dog.

Also for the rendered stuff if I also remember, they are so detailed, they are either A barely animated, or B not animated at all, or C little sections of it are animated(like worms ect).

Hmmm could be wrong though, but I can't remember an instance when it wasn't that way. Whatever you do though do not drop the eye, it's great!

Hope that helps.
